Extension Activities

The department has been conducting training programmes for field level Artisans, Farm Level Trainees and Rural Women in Enterprise Management, Time, Money and Fuel Energy Management & Consumer Education.

1. Transfer of Technologies in rural and Urban areas.
2. Consumer Guidance and Counselling Center – VHELP
3. Consumer Club –AWAKE
4. Short term training programmes in the fields of interior designing and decoration, Flower Arrangement, Floral Crafts and arrangement, Entrepreneurship Development, Stress Management for both Urban & Rural people.

Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs , Government of Andhra Pradesh has recognized the RMCS department as a NODAL AGENCY for carrying out Consumer Education programmes in the state.
